Fahad Haroon Reappointed as SAPM on Digital Media

Federal government has reappointed Fahad Haroon as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Digital Media. Haroon, who previously held the same position during the caretaker government, brings extensive experience in media, IT, and communications to the role.

The notification, issued by the Cabinet Division, grants Haroon the status of a Minister of State, underscoring the significance of the digital media portfolio. With a proven track record in government and media, Haroon is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping Pakistan’s digital landscape.

Haroon has held leadership positions in both international and local media organizations, including chairing the Press and Electronic Media Committee of the FPCCI. His expertise in media, IT, management, communications, and regulatory affairs will be instrumental in driving the government’s digital agenda.
