In order to attract more readers and provide hassle free data to the people, a public e-library has opened its door at the Nawaz Sharif Park in Rawalpindi.
According to the Chief Librarian Sher Afzal Malik, the library is ideal for detailed and in-depth research as the libraries would provide access intricate material without any licensing restrictions, associated costs and free of copyright. The library particularly set up to facilitate students and consists of 30 laptops and five tables.

Furthermore, the e-library would have a comprehensive data base comprising thousands of authentic books and over 10,000 e-books, magazines and publications.
He further added that this initiative is part of the directives by the Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif where the Information Technology Board Punjab is setting up E-libraries in 20 districts of the province.
