With the ecommerce industry on an all-time high, Fishry, along with the Pakistan Software House Association brings Ecomx Pakistan Series to Pakistan, with IDG as Knowledge Partners.

According to the recent rankings by Bloomberg Pakistan has been ranked the world’s fastest growing retail market with 135m millennials, and 50m active internet users. eMarketer, this year in Asia alone, ecommerce will represent 15% of total retail sales, estimated at $1.4 trillion. Statista meanwhile anticipates a 250% increase in worldwide ecommerce sales approaching $4.5 trillion in 2021. That’s a nearly threefold lift in online revenue.

The rise of ecommerce in the industry is very apparent with several businesses taking up platforms such as social media and etc to set up their stores without actually having a brick and motor store. Having an online presence these days has become an absolute necessity for businesses and it is no exception for the ones in Pakistan as well. The local e-commerce industry has seen several acknowledgements from world leaders like eBay, Amazon, Alibaba and several industry players.
