Discount World and EasyPaisa Join Forces to Strengthen Digital Payment Platform in Pakistan

In a significant development, Discount World (DW) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Telenor Microfinance Bank’s Easypaisa, marking a revolutionary step forward in facilitating Easypaisa’s large consumer base. This strategic alliance aims to enhance and strengthen Pakistan’s digital payment platform.

The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of senior officials from both DW and Easypaisa, where Mr. Sultan Richard, Chairman & CEO of DW, and Mr. Farhan Hassan, Head of Easypaisa, signed the agreement.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Mr. Sultan Richard stated, “We are delighted to partner with Pakistan’s leading digital payment platform. As DW continues to prioritize convenience for customers across various institutes in Pakistan, today’s strategic alliance with Easypaisa represents another significant step in that direction.”

This collaboration between DW and Easypaisa will bring added benefits to Easypaisa’s extensive customer base, and both parties are confident that the partnership will play an instrumental role in expanding their market reach and customer confidence.

Following the MoU signing, a networking session was held, allowing senior officials from both organizations to discuss collaboration details and exchange ideas for future projects.

The collaboration between DW and Easypaisa signifies a major leap forward in strengthening Pakistan’s digital payment ecosystem. This partnership aims to enhance convenience, accessibility, and efficiency for customers, further promoting the adoption of digital payment solutions in the country.
