Dawood Lawrencepur Invests Rs. 20 Million in Subsidiary Reon Alpha’s Right Issue

Dawood Lawrencepur Limited (DLL) announced a Rs. 20 million investment in a Right Issue by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Reon Alpha (Private) Limited.

The announcement came via a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday. The Board of Directors of DLL approved the investment through a circular resolution passed on March 28, 2024. The Right Issue comprises 2 million shares of Rs. 10 each offered by Reon Alpha.

With the dissemination of this information, DLL declared the “Closed Period” terminated.

Dawood Lawrencepur Limited manages investments in its subsidiaries and associated companies. Additionally, the company is engaged in the trading and marketing of renewable energy solutions, primarily solar, for commercial and industrial consumers. This business operates alongside their legacy textile business.
