Daraz Pakistan has announced a strategic partnership with Unity Retail, one of the country’s foremost e-commerce enablement platforms, in a bold move to extend its logistics capabilities beyond its core marketplace. This partnership signals a major evolution in Daraz’s business model, as it begins offering logistics-as-a-service (LaaS) to brands and retailers operating outside its traditional digital ecosystem.

The collaboration aims to modernize and digitize logistics operations for major brands across Pakistan, enabling them to benefit from Daraz’s established delivery infrastructure and technology stack. Under this initiative, courier services will be seamlessly integrated with advanced logistics software, providing a one-stop solution for order fulfilment in more than 80 cities across the country. The service covers every stage of the logistics journey—from initial pickup and warehousing to transportation, final delivery, and return handling—while also offering essential features such as cash-on-delivery and express shipping.

With e-commerce continuing to grow rapidly in Pakistan, both Daraz and Unity Retail see logistics as a vital component for driving further industry expansion. By unifying digital systems with physical delivery networks, the new offering is expected to provide significant operational efficiencies for businesses while enhancing the end-customer experience. Through automated tracking updates and greater transparency, consumers can look forward to more reliable and timely deliveries—an area that has historically presented challenges in the local retail environment.

The logistics solution is built with scalability in mind, addressing the increasing demands that arise during high-volume shopping seasons and promotional events. Service-level agreements (SLAs), performance analytics, and delivery guarantees are also part of the package, giving businesses the assurance they need to manage fulfilment operations with confidence.

Ahmed Tanveer, Chief Operating Officer of Daraz Pakistan, emphasized the broader impact of the move. “By opening up our logistics network to other brands, we’re making it easier for businesses to grow and serve their customers more effectively. This partnership with Unity Retail allows us to bring the technology, infrastructure, and expertise we have developed over the years to the wider retail ecosystem,” he stated.

Mohammed Atif Sami, Founder and CEO of Unity Retail, echoed this sentiment, noting that delivery remains the most tangible aspect of online shopping. “The success of e-commerce hinges on one key factor: timely and reliable delivery. It’s not just the last step in the journey—it’s often the only physical touchpoint between a brand and its customer,” he said. “At Unity Retail, we believe delivery is a core part of the customer experience, and our mission is to help brands deliver on their promises. This partnership with Daraz isn’t just about logistics, it’s about unlocking e-commerce’s true potential across Pakistan.”

By combining Daraz’s deep logistical infrastructure with Unity Retail’s merchant-facing technology solutions, the partnership is positioned to accelerate digital commerce adoption and redefine fulfilment standards in Pakistan. As Daraz evolves from a marketplace into a full-service logistics partner, it is poised to play a central role in shaping the future of how goods move across the country—empowering businesses, improving delivery experiences, and advancing the broader e-commerce ecosystem.
