Change Mechanics has officially launched League of Launchers Season 02, a structured eight-week Artificial Intelligence accelerator bootcamp for students and young entrepreneurs across Pakistan, following a successful debut season in 2025 and this time organised in partnership with S&P Global.
A total of 48 teams drawn from different parts of the country have been selected to participate in the programme, which is designed to take participants from concept to functional product over the course of two months. Teams will receive structured mentorship, hands-on workshops, and coaching focused on developing real Minimum Viable Products using Artificial Intelligence technologies rather than producing theoretical presentations or business plans without accompanying technical execution. The programme will conclude with a Demo Day held in front of investors and ecosystem leaders, where participating teams will present their completed products, with the winning team receiving a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 alongside a pathway into Taksh Venture Studio for further development and support.
The initiative has secured backing from several prominent ecosystem partners including GDG Islamabad, Google Cloud Islamabad, Canva Community Islamabad, and GDG Live Pakistan, giving participants access to technical resources, cloud infrastructure, and community connections beyond what the bootcamp programme itself provides. Samia Abbasi, Senior Programme Manager at S&P Global, said the partnership with Change Mechanics is built around ensuring that Pakistan’s youth gains real, applicable skills, describing the collaboration as a commitment to preparing the next generation of builders to compete, create, and lead.
League of Launchers Season 02 sits within a growing landscape of Artificial Intelligence-focused accelerator and bootcamp initiatives in Pakistan, where organisations increasingly recognise that closing the gap between Artificial Intelligence literacy and practical product development requires structured, time-bound programmes that combine mentorship with hands-on building rather than relying on standalone workshops or passive learning experiences. For the 48 selected teams, the eight-week timeline and Demo Day format create the accountability and deadline pressure needed to convert Artificial Intelligence skills into deployable products with genuine startup potential.
