Chairman PTA and Head of GSMA APAC Partner On Closing The Gender Mobile Gap

New agreement promoting gender equality ♀ in Pakistan signed today at #MWC22 by Chairman PTA, Maj. General Amir Azeem Bajwa (R) and Julian Gorman, Head of GSMA APAC.

The GSMA and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) are partnering to take concrete action to close the mobile gender gap in #Pakistan.

Under this agreement, the GSMA will:

✔️ Share data and expertise and identify projects to reduce #MobileGenderGap in Pakistan

✔️ Support the PTA in designing surveys to collect gender disaggregated data

✔️ Translate Mobile Internet Skills Training Toolkit (#MISTT) into Urdu
