CDA has abandoned plans to implement the NITB e-office system due to ongoing technical issues. According to CDA officials, NITB’s system failed to meet expectations during multiple pilot tests. Citing “system non-delivery,” officials stated the project stalled after each attempt.

In response, CDA has opted to partner with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for their e-office solution. The rollout will be phased, with initial implementation planned for the Technology Wing. Success in this department will trigger further expansion into the Admin and HR Wings, ultimately aiming for CDA-wide adoption.

NITB officials, however, maintain their system functions effectively across other government departments. They claim the CDA holds the discretion to choose any e-office provider.
