As part of their global expansion efforts, the largest lockscreen advertising platform has acquired the largest lockscreen content curator in India and Pakistan: SlideApp.

John Lee, CEO Buzzvill speaking on the occasion said, “By taking SlideApp under our wings, Buzzvil is able to take onboard excellent developers and continue to scale its geographic reach not only in the Asian, European and the US markets, but also India, Pakistan and the Middle East.”

This is the second acquisition for Buzzvil as they have also took over the New York based Slidejoy, which rewards users in exchange for allowing advertisements to be displayed on smartphone lockscreens. However no details on the acquisition have been revealed.

Some of the big names that utilize Buzzvill’s BuzzSrreen are Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, CJ One, eBay, Adidas, Toyota, Jaguar and BMW.
