Betacodes Pakistan, formerly Forbmax, has officially rebranded and become a group company of BetaBytes Holding, an official NVIDIA NCP Partner, signaling a significant shift in Pakistan’s approach to Artificial Intelligence. This transformation goes beyond a simple name change, positioning the company at the forefront of efforts to establish national AI sovereignty. With major investment from BetaBytes Holding anticipated, Betacodes is preparing Pakistan to move from being a consumer of AI technologies to a producer, building local infrastructure capable of supporting large-scale AI development.

The company is deploying a comprehensive ecosystem designed specifically for Pakistan’s regulatory and economic context. Through its DataNext AI Factory platform, Betacodes provides government agencies and private enterprises with infrastructure that allows the training and deployment of large AI models locally. By prioritizing data sovereignty, the platform ensures that sensitive information remains within national borders, eliminating dependence on foreign services and third-party providers. Key initiatives include sovereign AI platforms governed by local laws, GPU-as-a-Service for high-performance computation, enterprise agentic AI systems for autonomous operations, and AI-driven media and intelligence solutions to support national security and public safety.

Betacodes’ CEO, Waqar Ali, described the rebranding as a turning point for Pakistan’s technological trajectory, emphasizing that the company is building the backbone for a national AI ecosystem rather than simply delivering hardware or software. “Pakistan will not just consume AI; Pakistan will produce it,” Ali said. By creating infrastructure that enables institutions to develop world-class AI locally, Betacodes is laying the groundwork for sustainable, self-reliant digital development. This initiative is complemented by BetaBytes Holding’s global expertise, with CEO Mario Glas highlighting the importance of bringing international-grade standards and NVIDIA-certified GPU cloud platforms directly into Pakistan to accelerate sovereign AI ecosystems in emerging markets.

As AI adoption increases across government, healthcare, banking, and enterprise sectors, the focus on sovereignty becomes critical. Locally produced AI ensures that intelligence is trained on regional context, understands cultural and operational nuances, and remains under national control. The establishment of National AI Factories and GPU Clouds demonstrates a long-term vision for a secure, self-sustaining digital economy. With infrastructure deployments already underway, Betacodes and BetaBytes Holding aim to showcase how a nation can achieve technological independence while enabling high-performance AI solutions to thrive within Pakistan.
