Bank Alfalah has entered into a strategic partnership with UnionPay International to launch the industry’s first UnionPay co-badge platinum debit card in Pakistan. This innovative card offers customers unparalleled value and access to exclusive international privileges in 183 countries and regions.

The partnership was formalized at a signing ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey, where Atif Bajwa, President and CEO of Bank Alfalah, and James Yang, General Manager of UnionPay International, signed the agreement.

The UnionPay co-badge platinum debit card provides customers with the convenience of making international transactions seamlessly. With this card, Bank Alfalah customers can enjoy a wider range of financial services and greater flexibility in their spending habits.

This partnership aligns with the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) encouragement for banks to introduce co-badge cards. By collaborating with UnionPay International, Bank Alfalah is demonstrating its commitment to expanding its product offerings and enhancing customer experience.

The introduction of the UnionPay co-badge platinum debit card reinforces Bank Alfalah’s position as a leading financial services institution in Pakistan. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the bank’s efforts to provide innovative and customer-centric solutions.
