Pakistani esports star Arslan Ash has secured his eighth Evolution Championship Series title after winning the Tekken 8 tournament at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas. The victory further strengthens his position as one of the world’s most accomplished fighting game players and marks his fourth consecutive EVO championship in Tekken 8. He defeated South Korea’s Rangchu in the grand final, once again demonstrating the consistency, precision and strategic gameplay that have made him a dominant force in international esports.

Representing Twisted Minds, Arslan competed against more than 1,300 players from around the world before lifting the championship trophy. Throughout the tournament, he delivered impressive performances against some of the strongest competitors in the global Tekken community. His latest victory earned him approximately $28,000, equivalent to nearly Rs. 8 million, along with 800 Tekken World Tour ranking points and direct qualification for the Tekken World Tour Finals 2026.

Pakistan also celebrated another strong result as fellow competitor Qasim Meer finished sixth in the tournament. His performance secured valuable prize money and enough ranking points to qualify for the Esports World Cup 2026. The achievements of both players highlight Pakistan’s continued prominence in the global Tekken scene and reflect the country’s growing influence in competitive esports. Pakistani players have consistently delivered strong performances at major international tournaments, earning recognition for their skill and dedication.

Arslan Ash’s latest championship adds another milestone to an already remarkable career that includes multiple EVO titles across Tekken 7 and Tekken 8. His continued success has inspired aspiring esports players in Pakistan while raising the country’s profile in the international gaming community. With qualification for the Tekken World Tour Finals already secured, Arslan will now focus on maintaining his winning momentum as he prepares for the remaining international competitions of the 2026 season.
