Akram Foundation & FoodPanda Lighting up Smiles this Eid!

Ramadan sees the best of every man’s spirit and ability to give back! In Pakistan, there are thousands of people who are living without proper access to sanitation, clean drinking water etc.

Therefore in this holy month, FoodPanda and the Akram Foundation have come together to help build a society that provides all basic necessities such as clean drinking water, sanitation, security to every citizen irrespective of religion, color, caste or creed.

In a statement, the Nauman Sikander Mirza CEO FoodPanda said:

“Serving humanity is at the very heart of Foodpanda and there can be no better partnership than joining hands with Pakistan’s great legend, Mr. Wasim Akram, to achieve our mutual goal together.”

Wasim Akram, who heads the Akram Foundation with Shaneira Akram, said:

“On this Eid, Akram Foundation and Foodpanda aim to spread smiles and happiness among kids in hospitals.”

Donating through Foodpanda is very simple, just go the app and select the option of The Akram Foundation. Donations start from Rs 500, and you can either pay online or a rider will come pick up the cash from your doorstep at a designated time.

The Akram Foundation will directly receive your donations, and Wasim Akram and Shaneira Akram will personally visit the children in hospitals to distribute your love and smiles.

Every good deed has its own perks, and the top ten donators will receive a bat and ball signed by Wasim Akram himself. So donate now to bring a smile to the faces of the kids this Eid with the Akram Foundation.
