Akademos has renewed its collaboration with Taleemabad to undertake a new multi year impact evaluation initiative aimed at strengthening evidence based education reform in Pakistan. The partnership builds on their earlier engagement in Balochistan and now expands its scope to 130 schools across Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The initiative is designed to assess the effectiveness of Taleemabad’s educational interventions, with particular emphasis on teacher training, technology integration and structured pedagogy within classroom environments.

The evaluation will adopt a comprehensive and methodical approach to understanding how digital tools and pedagogical support systems are influencing learning experiences. Akademos will conduct detailed student learning assessments to measure academic progress, alongside structured classroom observations to examine instructional practices and student engagement. In addition, school facility surveys will be carried out to evaluate infrastructure readiness and the enabling environment required for technology driven learning. By combining quantitative assessments with qualitative insights from classroom settings, the initiative aims to generate a holistic understanding of how interventions translate into measurable improvements in student performance.

Taleemabad’s model integrates curriculum aligned digital content, teacher capacity building and structured lesson delivery frameworks. Through this evaluation, Akademos intends to examine the consistency and effectiveness of these components when implemented at scale across diverse public and private school contexts in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The findings are expected to provide data backed insights into how teacher training programs enhance instructional quality, how technology is being utilized within daily teaching practices and whether structured pedagogy leads to improved comprehension and retention among students. The research design reflects a growing emphasis in Pakistan’s education sector on grounding policy decisions and program expansion in credible evidence rather than anecdotal outcomes.

The collaboration underscores a shared belief that sustainable progress in education depends on continuous measurement, refinement and partnership. By systematically documenting outcomes and identifying areas for improvement, the initiative seeks to inform future iterations of Taleemabad’s programs while contributing to broader conversations around education reform in Pakistan. As learning gaps remain a persistent challenge across many regions, especially in foundational literacy and numeracy, rigorous impact evaluations such as this are increasingly viewed as essential tools for shaping scalable and effective solutions. Through this renewed engagement, Akademos and Taleemabad reaffirm their commitment to strengthening learning outcomes and improving education delivery through structured research, practical insights and collaborative effort.
