STEMx and Elif, in collaboration with PakGPT, have launched AI4dot EDU, a virtual crash course designed to help educators confidently integrate artificial intelligence into teaching and learning. The course runs from August 7 to 9, 2026, and is delivered entirely online, with registration open until August 5.
Outstanding participants may earn the opportunity to represent Pakistan at the AI Literacy Programme for Teachers of the Global South, scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from August 26 to 28, organized by AETDEW and ISTIC. Two slots are available for the Kuala Lumpur event, one reserved for the best performing teacher, sponsored by STEMx, and another for a leading school representative, self-financed by their institution.
The crash course covers key topics in AI literacy and its use in education, including the technology behind large language models, AI powered assessments, lesson planning, content creation, and ethical considerations around classroom AI use. Organizers describe the program as offering more than 12 hours of guided sessions, tutorials, and real world applications, delivered by a faculty of AI specialists, and note that more than 1,500 teachers have taken part in similar programs since 2023.
The course offers three modes of participation, including a free attendee track, a certificate track, and an AI4Edu Fellowship track, giving educators different levels of engagement depending on their interests and availability. The initiative is aimed at teachers, educators, and educational leaders across Pakistan, adding to a growing list of AI literacy programs targeting the country’s education sector, following similar efforts including Punjab’s Google for Education Center of Excellence and the national AI and Robotics curriculum introduced for Grades 1 through 12.
