The Pakistan eCommerce Association (PEA) has strengthened its global footprint by partnering with Digital Marketing Expo and Conference (DMEXCO) to host the first-ever DMEXCO Asia in Singapore. The event marks a major milestone for Pakistan’s eCommerce sector, positioning the country as an emerging contributor to digital trade and innovation across the region. The partnership aims to create a unified platform where companies, policymakers, and innovators can collaborate, exchange ideas, and shape the evolving digital economy of Asia.
Led by Founder and Chairman Omer Mubeen and Founding Member and General Secretary Sehrish Ali, the Association facilitated the participation of Pakistani startups, enterprises, and service providers at the event. Their inclusion underscores Pakistan’s growing relevance in digital transformation and entrepreneurship. By connecting local businesses to international investors and partners, PEA is helping expand market access and enabling collaboration between Pakistan’s technology community and global digital commerce leaders. Mubeen stated that this initiative represents more than just participation—it is a reflection of Pakistan’s readiness to contribute meaningfully to regional eCommerce development and policy dialogue.
DMEXCO Asia, being held in Singapore on October 8–9 alongside Tech Week Asia, serves as a premier gathering point for leaders and innovators across marketing, digital economy, and technology sectors. For the first time, the event extends DMEXCO’s established European legacy into Asia, providing a venue for regional cooperation in eCommerce, advertising technology, and digital innovation. The event’s inclusion in Tech Week Singapore amplifies its impact by combining audiences from across digital marketing, retail, and technology ecosystems.
According to Sehrish Ali, the integration of DMEXCO Asia within Tech Week Singapore is a significant milestone, bringing together Asia’s leading technology providers and innovators to explore emerging trends in eCommerce, retail, and marketing technology. She added that the collaboration offers Pakistan a valuable platform to highlight its entrepreneurial strengths and demonstrate how digital trade is driving growth and innovation across multiple sectors. The participation of Pakistani representatives showcases the country’s expanding potential in global eCommerce and reflects the Association’s broader mission to guide businesses, support entrepreneurs, and raise awareness about digital opportunities.
Through initiatives like these, the Pakistan eCommerce Association continues to build bridges between local industry players and the international market, contributing to knowledge exchange and policy development that can help shape the future of digital commerce in the region. DMEXCO Asia 2025 stands as an important step toward reinforcing Pakistan’s presence in the global digital economy and expanding its engagement in regional collaborations that promote sustainable growth and innovation.
