NAVTTC and ExD Launch Onsite Summer of Code Tech Training in Lahore

National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), in collaboration with Excellence Delivered (ExD) Pvt Ltd, has launched the Summer of Code training program in Lahore. This three-month onsite initiative is designed to help young graduates and early-career professionals advance their careers in technology by equipping them with high-demand skills and internationally recognized certifications. The program is part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and aims to provide job-ready training in key tech domains.

The Summer of Code offers a targeted opportunity for individuals who already hold a degree but are looking to specialize or enhance their capabilities through hands-on, practical learning. Through the support of NAVTTC, participants will receive training from industry professionals affiliated with ExD, a known provider of digital transformation and enterprise training solutions in Pakistan. The goal is to prepare trainees for direct entry into tech roles that require specialized certifications and project-based experience.

The courses included in the Summer of Code are curated to align with global trends and employer expectations. Learners will be trained in environments that simulate real-world job settings, with a focus on both technical proficiency and problem-solving. International certifications will be offered upon completion, which will support participants in gaining a competitive edge in both local and international job markets. The training model is designed to blend theory, practice, and mentorship, enabling participants to grow in confidence as they build their technical portfolios.

The program is being conducted onsite in Lahore, allowing for face-to-face learning and personalized interaction with instructors. This format supports collaborative learning, networking, and direct access to mentors, which are essential for those aiming to transition into or advance within the tech industry. By engaging learners in a structured and focused environment, NAVTTC and ExD aim to deliver results that directly contribute to employability.

The training is expected to attract individuals from diverse academic backgrounds who are eager to join Pakistan’s growing tech workforce. The initiative also reflects NAVTTC’s wider commitment to national human capital development by creating industry-relevant learning pathways for young professionals.

Excellence Delivered, with its expertise in enterprise technologies and talent enablement, will provide the technical training framework and instructional support throughout the program. The partnership with NAVTTC ensures that the Summer of Code remains accessible and cost-free for eligible participants under the government’s youth development agenda.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s digital economy by investing in practical training that bridges the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. With focused delivery, recognized certification, and hands-on experience, the Summer of Code is positioned to support the professional growth of a new generation of tech talent in Pakistan.
