National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new service that allows citizens to apply for or update their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) without visiting its offices. The “Biker Service” aims to streamline the process and eliminate the hassle of long queues.
Currently available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, the service involves a simple procedure. Citizens can request an appointment by calling NADRA’s helpline at 1777. A designated biker will then visit their home or office to process the application.
For new CNICs, the service fee is Rs 1,500, which includes a Rs 1,000 service charge. Payments can be made via card or cash. Once the CNIC is ready, it will be delivered directly to the applicant’s doorstep.
As NADRA plans to expand the Biker Service to other cities in the near future, this convenient option is expected to benefit many citizens across Pakistan.
