Animal Passport from FAST National University of Computing & Emerging Sciences, Karachi, emerged victorious at the Zindigi Prize Sindh Regionals, Pakistan’s largest entrepreneurial competition. The event, held at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), saw participation from over 95 startups.

Internee.pk and Calcix International, representing Sindh Madressatul Islam University and the University of Karachi respectively, secured the runner-up positions. The event celebrated the innovative spirit of young entrepreneurs and highlighted the dynamic startup ecosystem in Sindh.

Zindigi Prize attracted over 160 universities, showcasing significant enthusiasm among students seeking seed funding and mentorship. The event kicked off with an energetic opening ceremony at MUET, followed by three days of workshops, motivational talks, and networking opportunities.

Workshops focused on marketing, pitching, fundraising, and scaling startups, while inspiring talks by prominent Pakistani entrepreneurs ignited the entrepreneurial spirit in participants. A unique Speed Dating session allowed students to interact with industry experts, receiving valuable feedback to refine their ideas.

“The Zindigi Prize empowers students to become job creators and contribute to sustainable development,” stated Tauha Hussain Ali, Vice Chancellor of MUET. “By fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem, we’re shaping the next generation of Pakistan’s entrepreneurs.”

Ibtisam Babar, Zindigi-JS Bank’s Regional Head of Special Initiatives, emphasized the platform’s global aspirations. “We aim to connect with a global community of visionaries, inspiring future generations to drive positive change. The Zindigi Prize, now Pakistan’s largest entrepreneurial platform, empowers our youth, our most valuable asset.”

Following successful regional competitions across Pakistan, Zindigi Prize will embark on an international journey, starting with Kenya. The grand International Finals will be held in Islamabad, uniting top entrepreneurs from around the world.
