Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance has initiated the recruitment process for the position of President/CEO at Pakistan Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd. (ZTBL). Currently, Asad Ullah Habib is serving as the bank’s Acting President and CEO in the absence of Muhammad Shahbaz Jameel, who retired from the position.
The incoming President will hold the office for a three-year term. The government has invited interested candidates, who must be Pakistani nationals with a minimum graduation degree or its equivalent from a recognized local or international institution approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), to submit their applications within 15 days.
The Ministry has set an age limit between 40 and 62 years for eligible candidates as per HEC guidelines.
Following the evaluation of all applications, the Federal Finance Minister will shortlist three candidates for the position, and their names will be forwarded to the federal cabinet. The cabinet will then select one candidate from the three and provide final approval. The process of appointing the President of Pakistan Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd. is currently underway.
