Zindigi, in partnership with JS Bank, has teamed up with Careem, the leading ride-hailing company in Pakistan, to provide Captains with digital payment solutions. Through this collaboration, Careem Captains will receive co-branded debit cards from Zindigi, enabling them to access ATMs and POS terminals nationwide for faster daily payments and fund withdrawals.

The cooperation aims to empower Careem Captains with financial independence by utilizing the Zindigi App to access their Careem earnings swiftly. Additionally, Captains will have access to a wide range of features offered by the Zindigi App, including utility bill payments and mobile phone top-ups.

Furthermore, the partnership will introduce Careem Captains to wealth management through mutual funds, stock trading, and financing options.

The agreement was signed by key representatives from both organizations, including Noman Azhar, Chief Officer of Zindigi, Meena Munawar Khan, Head of Products, Feroz Jaleel, Country General Manager of Careem Pakistan, and Noman Khurshid, General Manager of Careem Pay, at the Careem headquarters in Karachi.

Noman Azhar highlighted Zindigi’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences and resolving cash flow issues for Careem Captains, with the ultimate goal of improving the entire ecosystem and encouraging greater acceptance of digital payments.

On the other hand, Noman Khurshid, General Manager of Careem Pay, emphasized their efforts to simplify and enhance the lives of Careem Captains by promoting digital payments, which will ultimately lead to increased customer satisfaction.

During the trial phase of the program, both Careem and Zindigi will provide Captains with their debit cards and proper instructions on their usage. The collaboration will continue to evolve, with the addition of more debit card features and services, making digital payment options even more appealing for Careem Captains.
