Smartphones have been in the market competing and trying to be a step ahead of its rival. Apple decides to take a big jump ahead of others and comes up with the holographic iPhone 6 concept which might expect to release later this year or this could just all be a big hype and just another shiny gadget will be coming our way.
It seems rather realistic, almost magical an experience.
SET Solution’s iPhone 6 concept, labeled “The Dream”, it hosts a couple of absurd and futuristic features and hardware.
This is the first time in a while, where a concept includes three dimensional holographic action. Unlocking the screen is performed by swiping a 3d-projected padlock. The other prominent feature is how to handle multi-window multitasking. Instead of holding the running apps within the borders of its display, this iPhone throws them outside the iPhone’s edges using some side-mounted short-throw projectors of some kind.
The iPhone 6 is expected to launch this fall. There are all kinds of rumors in the air about the high-tech features of the iPhone 6, how far do you think this is true?
iPhone 6 could have a sapphire glass-coated screen that cannot get scratched, embedded with solar cells.
Here’s an interesting one; according to Forbes, there is some evidence that the iPhone 6 could have solar cell charging capabilities. This would allow the user to charge their iPhone 6 on the go.
This rumor is viable, given the fact that we know Apple ramped up sapphire glass production. Since sapphire glass could conceivably be used in making solar-friendly smartphones, this rumor isn’t entirely bizarre.
As the concept suggests, some people think that the iPhone 6 could be capable of creating a bigger screen by using holographic projections. It has also been rumored that it would just be the keyboard projects holographically, which would make it possible for users to type on a virtual keyboard that is similar to a laptop or desktop keyboard.
A hyper-futuristic feature like holographic displays would seriously get iPhone 6 up in the A-game, side by side, up the “cool factor” of the iPhone 6, and heighten the sales.
A concept video shows the iPhone 6 having a huge 445 PPI screen, with the home button nowhere to be seen, and becoming the iPhone Air, could this be a spot on prediction?
In the meantime, iPhone enthusiasts have been creating iPhone 6 concept videos that imagine what the upcoming Apple iPhone might turn out to be like. Two new concept videos offer very different takes on what the iPhone 6 could be. One is realistic, while the other is more of a fantasy.
This iPhone 6 concept video calls the device an “iPhone Air”, as its sleekness is of 7mm depth that’s 9 percent thinner than the iPhone 5s. It holds the rumored sapphires opposed to Corning Gorilla Glass for greater durability and scratch resistance. Another prominent feature is the updated 10-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture.
An iPhone 6 with interactive holograms might be a brilliant idea in the air, though Apple will likely look for innovative feature to capture our attention like the iPhone 5s’ fingerprint scanner. Whether it is an eyeball scanner, 3D camera or another feature no one has thought of yet, only the iPhone 6 release date will bring to us the answer. Apple’s main competitor Samsung announced its flagship Samsung Galaxy S5 last month, which included a fingerprint scanner and also a unique heart rate monitor and water proof capabilities.
So it’s all up to Apple to up the stake.
Say hello to the future.
