ZiriumAi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Women Centre of Excellence at Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) to create a structured pathway for women who have completed their training to move into on-job training and hands-on industry exposure. The agreement was signed on behalf of ZiriumAi alongside the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Haseeb Akbari, and is aimed at giving women graduates practical, real world work experience beyond what they receive in the classroom.

The company said the partnership reflects an alignment between ZiriumAi’s own goals and those of the Women Centre of Excellence, describing the agreement as a genuine commitment rather than a symbolic gesture. Under the MoU, the two organisations plan to offer participants real on-job training, direct mentorship, and ongoing industry exposure, with ZiriumAi stating that this commitment would be carried through personally rather than left as a one time initiative. The company confirmed that the first group of students has already been welcomed into the programme, with plans to expand it further over time.

The signing was facilitated with the support of Dr. Muhammad Ali, Head of the Women Centre of Excellence at IMSciences, who extended the invitation to ZiriumAi and placed trust in the company to help design and deliver the programme. ZiriumAi also acknowledged the continued support of Ben Lawton, Deputy Director at British Council Pakistan, in helping establish the initiative and providing backing for its development.

The partnership between ZiriumAi and the Women Centre of Excellence adds to a broader pattern of collaborations between Pakistan’s technology companies and academic institutions aimed at improving employment pathways for women in the sector. By combining structured mentorship with direct industry exposure, the initiative is intended to help close the gap between formal training and actual workplace readiness for women entering technology careers. ZiriumAi said further updates on the programme’s growth and expansion are expected in the coming months as more participants join.
