Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, has been awarded Best Digital Banking Experience (Pakistan) at the FDI Insider Awards, a global platform that honors organizations driving innovation, sustainability, and long-term economic impact across industries. The FDI Insider Awards recognize institutions and individuals shaping global investment and economic development, spanning sectors such as banking, financial services, and technology. This recognition underscores Zindigi’s growing influence in transforming digital banking experiences for Pakistan’s Gen Z and millennial population.

Since its launch in 2022, Zindigi has redefined the digital banking landscape in Pakistan. The platform is designed as a lifestyle banking solution that integrates payments, investments, digital account management, and daily financial activities into a single intuitive application. Zindigi aims to set new standards for how banking should feel and function, blending convenience, accessibility, and digital innovation. Noman Azhar, Chief Officer of Zindigi, commented that global recognition is meaningful when it validates local impact and emphasized the platform’s commitment to building globally benchmarked financial experiences tailored to Pakistan’s realities, empowering individuals, businesses, and the digital economy.

A key element of Zindigi’s success has been its Raast QR feature, which has accelerated digital payment adoption nationwide. By enabling deep penetration among merchants and consumers across urban and semi-urban markets, Zindigi is creating scalable cashless models that support financial inclusion. Through strategic public-private partnerships, the platform continues to expand the digital payment ecosystem in Pakistan, establishing frameworks that can be replicated to enhance accessibility and efficiency in financial transactions.

Zindigi has also focused on supporting Pakistan’s growing freelance economy by providing a USD-based Freelancer Account that allows seamless receipt of international payments via its secure Pay via Link feature. Additionally, the platform has simplified investment access for young Pakistanis by enabling participation in mutual funds and the stock market while setting benchmarks in Banking-as-a-Service. This allows businesses to embed financial solutions into their customer journeys, further integrating digital banking into everyday life. Over the years, Zindigi has received multiple national and international accolades, reinforcing its position as a leader in global-standard digital banking and reflecting its vision of creating a financially empowered Pakistan.

Through this award and ongoing innovation, Zindigi continues to demonstrate its commitment to reshaping how digital banking is experienced in Pakistan, combining technology, accessibility, and user-centric design to build solutions that resonate with a new generation of consumers. Its initiatives in payments, investments, and embedded banking signal a broader shift toward inclusive, technology-driven financial ecosystems that can serve both individuals and businesses at scale.
