Zong Appoints New CCO

Sajid Mahmood who previously served as the Chief Information Officer for Zong and was already heading the IT, Corporate Sales, Legal, Regulatory and OAS functions of the company has now been appointed the Chief Commercial Officer of Zong.

The appointment of Sajid as the CCO came when in June of this year the previous Zafar Usmani quit.

On the occasion of the appointment, in a PR Zong CEO Fan Yunjun stated, “The Company has been very fortunate to have outstanding employees who have shown great commitment to their work. Sajid is an enthusiastic and hardworking person with flare for novelty and meticulousness. We are certain that he will bring more success to Zong.”

The newly appointed CCO for Zong, Sajid has also been a member of China Mobile Pakistan Limited Board of Directors and Executive Management Team (EMT) and has a diversified and wide experience in leadership, product and process development, strategic planning and organization operational efficiency.
