The Pakistan Citizen Portal app was launched by the Prime Minister a few weeks back, with the objective of the app being to act as a bridge between the government and the general public, so that the government could address their grievances.
With the Pakistan Citizen Portal application, any person residing anywhere in the country can easily file a complaint against any government department or officer. However, as time passes it is being noted that the app is actually very efficient when it comes to filing complaints and getting things done!
As of recently, a social media post has gone viral where a man lodged a complaint against CDA as they were not supplying water and the official over there being disrespectful towards the citizen.
According to reports, the action was taken within 4 hours, with the citizen getting back the access to water along with a free water tanker. Now this is truly a ‘tabdeeli’ that the citizens of Pakistan were hoping for when they voted for PTI in the general elections.
Furthermore, according to local news the data indicated by the officials on November 24, show progress on the 84,399 complaints that lodged by citizens via ‘Pakistan Citizens’ Portal’ are in process while 16,770 complaints have been resolved.
