The Google Developer Groups Islamabad in collaboration with DEMO is all set to host its annual Women Techmakers event on the 13th of April 2019. The Women Techmakers is a global program by Google that celebrates International Women’s Day by highlighting the talent and inspiring stories of the growing female community of designers, developers, and technology entrepreneurs.
The Women Techmakers was initiated in 2012 and is led by a global team of Googlers who are passionate about empowering women in technology through increased visibility, community, and resources. The WTM 2019 is to be a one day event that will consist of tech-talks, panel discussions. Furthermore, it will also include an #IAmRemarkable workshop, an initiative by Google for empowering women and underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond.
