World Bank Brings Pakistan@100 Innovation Hackathon

The World Bank has teamed up with Code for Pakistan and the National Incubation Center Islamabad to bring the Pakistan@ 100 Innovation Hackathon.

The Pakistan@ 100 is an attempt to remove oneself from the constraints of space and time and to think further and longer towards thirty years down the road i.e. 2047. The hackathon is an attempt to think deeply to the core issues of poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, governance and all the other problems that are being faced by Pakistan.


The event is all set to be held from the 1st of February to the 2nd of February. At the hackathon, the participants will learn design thinking, open-source hacking for social good, receive mentoring and input from domain experts in government and local organizations, have opportunities to network, and work in teams to create solutions. The registrations for the event are now open, the event is free for all.

Furthermore, the winners will be able to win cash prizes total worth Rs. 300,000(tax applied). The participants will get numerous opportunities to network with industry stakeholders, Government officials and World Bank representatives all across the globe.
