In the past we have seen Google pay tribute to well-known and legendary personalities of Pakistan such as Abdul Sattar Edhi, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Noor Jehan, Nazia Hassan, among any others. This time around, Google has honored the Pakistani cricketer Hanif Mohammad on his 84th birthday.
Hanif Mohammad was born on the 21st of December 1934 in Junagadh India. He also hold the title for being the Pakistani cricketer who played the longest innings in Test history. Throughout his life, he played 55 Test matches between the 1952–53 seasons and the 1969–70 seasons for the cricket team of Pakistan.
Furthermore, Mr. Hanf was considered one of the best batsmen in the world at that time when the Pakistani cricket team played very little Test matches. In 17 year of his career, HanifMuhammad played only 55 Test matches. He was the first cricketer to be honored with a title of Little Master which was later given to Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar.
Among the many feathers in his hat, HanifMuhammad also holds the title for being the first Pakistani cricketer who to scored a triple hundred in a Test match. He died on August 11, 2016, in Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi.
