Western Digital Officially Enters Pakistan

With the launch of a new range of data storage devices, Western Digital Corporation, a global data infrastructure pioneer, has strengthened its commitment to the Pakistani market.

The products are poised to broaden the current product portfolio of Western Digital in Pakistan and allow local customers to access a wider range of WD and SanDisk brand products, including four times faster internal NVMe SSDs. The launch event was conducted at a local hotel in Karachi through a virtual press conference.

Pakistan’s local inprovided an opportunity for world-leading technology brands to grow their reach and to provide Western Digital with sales support from its approved dealers to sell its quality storage products.

With storage devices such as the iXpandTM flash drive, SanDisk UltraTM Dual Drive, microSDTM and SDTM cards (SanDisk ExtremeTM and SanDisk Extreme PROTM), Western Digital’s product line includes the SanDisk mobile storage solutions range.

The portfolio also includes a wide range of SanDisk external SSD and WD internal SSDs, including the latest addition to the award-winning WD Blue solid-state drive (SSD) portfolio, the WD Blue SN550 NVMeTM SSD. With such a diverse portfolio, through its efficient after-sales services, Western Digital aims to provide its Pakistani customers with a complete experience.

The SanDisk ExtremeTM microSDXCTM UHS-I card, one of the world’s first 1 TB cards, is added to the consumer storage portfolio; the SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB; and the SanDisk Ultra LuxeTM USB 3.1 Flash Drive, also available with 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB capacities, are now available to customers in Pakistan.

Each product has been specifically designed to address capacity needs and provide customers with convenient, secure on-the-go storage solutions.
