VIDERGG has announced the launch of CTRL POINT, a large-scale Counter-Strike 2 event set to take place offline in Karachi in August 2025. CTRL POINT is designed to offer a top-tier esports viewing experience for fans of the game in Pakistan, elevating the local scene with a production level that mirrors international standards. While offline events have previously occurred in the country, CTRL POINT stands out as the first full-scale LAN tournament to be held in a dedicated professional studio environment, reflecting VIDERGG’s ongoing commitment to quality and innovation.

The format of the event will begin with open qualifiers accessible to participants from all regions of Pakistan. Following a single-elimination format, these qualifiers will determine the top four teams who will secure their positions in the LAN finals. The finals will span two days and take place in a live studio setup in Karachi, featuring on-stage face-offs between teams in a high-stakes environment. This setup will foster a dynamic and competitive atmosphere, enabling players to showcase their skills in front of a professional production crew and a broader digital audience.

To support national representation and encourage participation from all corners of the country, VIDERGG will cover travel expenses for all four finalist teams heading to Karachi. The prize pool for the LAN finals stands at PKR 500,000, which ranks among the most substantial prize offerings for a CS2 LAN event in Pakistan to date. The victorious team will claim the largest share, giving participants strong motivation to compete at their best.

CTRL POINT will be broadcast live on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook, ensuring fans who are unable to attend in person can still engage with the event from wherever they are. This online access will allow the broader Pakistani gaming community to watch high-quality, professionally produced CS2 content, featuring local players and talent.

VIDERGG, a production house with roots in both the Middle East and Pakistan, has been active in the esports space since 2017. Over the years, the company has collaborated with leading players in the global gaming industry and is recognized for deploying cutting-edge production technologies. Through events like CTRL POINT, VIDERGG continues to set new benchmarks in the regional esports industry. Their projects have consistently showcased high-caliber setups and broadcast execution, both domestically and internationally.

With CTRL POINT, VIDERGG is set to deliver one of the most professionally executed Counter-Strike 2 events in the country’s history, merging competitive play with elite production standards. This tournament marks a milestone for Pakistan’s esports landscape, providing a platform for local talent to perform at a national level in a setup comparable to global tournaments.
