Unilever Goes Green with Reon
Unilever Pakistan announced their partnership with Reon for a solar energy project. The partnership came in under the Green Solar Energy initiative by Unilever. After a successful evaluation, there was a notable carbon footprint reduction, making Reon their partner of choice for four consecutive projects.
Specialists from the Reon team engineered the energy strategy and design to deliver an optimum return on investment. According to Reon,
“We are committed to deliver greater value to our customer than any other market player. To ensure this, we have made Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) mandatory for all our suppliers”

Regarding the implementation of the project, they added:
“Our Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) guidelines ensure that the execution mirrors the design to perfection. Our HSE experts performed a Roof Load Bearing test and Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis (HIRA) to insulate the process against any safety hazards.”
The vendor team provided detailed guidelines to the Unilever team. Additionally, the technical team brief Unilever on safety protocols at every step from material loading, cabling, electric engineering to testing to ensure it’s a safe and smooth transition.

In order to monitor or troubleshoot where need be, Reon allows real time remote monitoring system. This allows the Reon team members to monitor the system 24/7 and administer immediate trouble shooting if required. On the client side, this also acts as a performance monitoring tool accessible on their electronic devices.
