UAE is set to revolutionize its education system with the introduction of AI-powered “digital teachers,” announced Minister of Education Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi.

This initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge technology to enhance teaching methods and cater to individual student needs.

Minister Al Falasi emphasized the potential of AI in education, highlighting that even his introductory speech at the World Government Summit 2023 was partially created using ChatGPT, a powerful language model.

This announcement comes alongside a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Microsoft OpenAI. This collaboration will focus on integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into the national curriculum.

The “digital teachers” will leverage AI to personalize learning experiences. These AI tutors will adapt to individual student learning styles and adjust their approach accordingly, ultimately aiming to improve academic performance.

Al Falasi stressed the importance of the World Government Summit in fostering innovation and collaboration. He believes this global platform allows leaders and experts to exchange ideas and shape the future of education.

The inclusion of “Prioritizing Learning and Work” as a central theme at WGS2023 further underscores the UAE’s commitment to education as the cornerstone of a thriving future.  This initiative positions the UAE at the forefront of educational technology, paving the way for a more personalized and effective learning experience for students.
