U Microfinance Bank (U Bank) and Yousuf Dewan Companies have joined forces to make electric vehicles (EVs) more accessible and affordable for Pakistanis. This strategic collaboration combines U Bank’s expertise in offering innovative financing solutions with Yousuf Dewan Companies’ role as distributors for Honri and KIA electric vehicles.

The partnership will provide customers with exclusive loan options for EVs, along with bundled services like insurance coverage and vehicle registration. This aims to streamline the process of EV ownership and make it more financially attractive.

“We’re excited to partner with Yousuf Dewan Companies to offer innovative financing solutions for EV-interested customers,” said U Bank President & CEO Mohamed Essa Al Taheri. “This collaboration enhances accessibility to cost-effective mobility and contributes to a greener future.”

Dewan Mohammad Yousuf Farooqui, Chairman of Dewan Group, sees the partnership as a significant step towards a more sustainable future. “By making EV ownership easier, we’re not only improving individual mobility but also contributing to a more sustainable future,” he stated.

This combined expertise is expected to drive technological and financial innovation in the Pakistani automotive industry, ultimately benefiting both customers and the environment. The partnership marks a significant step towards promoting EV adoption in Pakistan.
