Tripper, a rising player in Pakistan’s mobility sector, has secured a six-figure USD investment from a USA-based angel network, marking a significant milestone in its mission to redefine safe and affordable transportation. This strategic funding will enable Tripper to expand its services, enhance safety measures, and integrate AI-driven solutions to optimize urban transport for students, professionals, and underserved communities—particularly female commuters.

The platform has already made a notable impact by empowering over 9,000 drivers with stable employment opportunities while ensuring affordable and secure travel for thousands of daily commuters. By leveraging AI-powered ride optimization, Tripper has improved efficiency and driver earnings, reinforcing its commitment to economic empowerment and bridging mobility gaps in Pakistan’s transportation landscape.

The fresh capital injection will fuel Tripper’s expansion into new cities, allowing it to extend its services to a broader audience. Safety remains a core focus, with planned enhancements such as real-time tracking, emergency alert systems, and stricter driver verification protocols. The company also aims to strengthen its technological backbone by deploying data-driven solutions to streamline urban transportation further.

Additionally, Tripper is looking to build institutional partnerships with universities and businesses, providing tailored mobility solutions to students and working professionals. These collaborations are expected to enhance accessibility and contribute to a more structured and reliable transportation network. Expressing gratitude for the support, Tripper acknowledged the role of its investors and the National Incubation Center Lahore in fostering its growth. With this milestone investment, the company is poised to accelerate its vision of a smarter, safer, and more connected transportation ecosystem in Pakistan.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
