Tech Valley Pakistan has announced that three of its professionals, Ahsan Ishtiaque, Saima Gul and Ameema Raja, have been selected for the Google for Education Certified Innovators VIA26 cohort. The selection places the team members within an international community focused on exploring new approaches to teaching and learning through technology. According to Tech Valley, the cohort will provide opportunities to collaborate with education leaders from around the world, exchange ideas and explore ways to integrate technology into educational environments. The announcement highlights the role of professional development and international collaboration in supporting the adoption of digital learning tools across Pakistan’s education sector.

The selected professionals bring different areas of experience to the cohort. Ahsan Ishtiaque serves as IT Lead at Tech Valley Pakistan, while Saima Gul works as a Senior IT Consultant. Ameema Raja is the organisation’s Senior Trainer and Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa region. Their selection brings together technical expertise, IT consultancy and training experience within an initiative centred on educational innovation. These areas are relevant to institutions seeking to integrate digital tools into classrooms, improve technology use among educators and support the adoption of new teaching practices. Tech Valley described the achievement as a reflection of its commitment to developing local capacity and encouraging wider technology adoption across Pakistan.

The Google for Education Certified Innovators programme connects selected professionals with a global network of educators and technology specialists. Participation offers a setting for exchanging experiences, examining educational challenges and exploring potential approaches to improving learning through technology. For professionals working with educational institutions, such collaboration can provide exposure to ideas and practices developed in different educational settings. The VIA26 cohort is expected to give participants opportunities to work with international peers and explore ways to translate innovation into practical educational applications. However, Tech Valley’s announcement did not identify specific projects that the three professionals will undertake, nor did it outline particular technologies or classroom initiatives they are expected to introduce in Pakistan following their participation.

Tech Valley Pakistan works with educational institutions and organisations to support digital transformation through technology deployment, training and professional development. Its work includes Google for Education solutions, educator capacity-building and technology adoption initiatives. The selection of Ishtiaque, Gul and Raja for the VIA26 cohort aligns with these activities by creating opportunities for its team members to engage with international education networks and explore approaches that may inform their work locally. The organisation has also invited educators and other interested professionals to contact its team for guidance on becoming Google for Education Innovators or Champions. Individuals seeking further information can reach Tech Valley at hello@techvalley.pk or call +92 333 5306444. The organisation has not announced any specific follow-up programme linked to the selection, but the participation of its three professionals offers an opportunity to bring additional ideas and professional connections into its ongoing educational technology work in Pakistan.
