A national event titled The Electric Horizon 2025 is set to take place at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, aiming to accelerate Pakistan’s transition toward electric mobility. The session will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the SINES Auditorium, and will focus on scaling electric vehicles in the country through structured discussions on policy, infrastructure, and commercialization pathways.

Organized by EV Academy in collaboration with NUST and the Center for Innovation & Technology (CIT), the event will bring together representatives from government, industry, academia, and the innovation ecosystem. The gathering is designed to facilitate dialogue around national EV policy goals, with particular emphasis on the 2025–2030 policy period. Topics on the agenda include climate-focused transport strategies, deployment of charging infrastructure, and advancements in energy innovations relevant to electric vehicle adoption.

Participants will engage in discussions on how to enable commercial viability of electric mobility in Pakistan, examining how public-private partnerships, technology development, and supportive regulations can intersect to build a reliable ecosystem. The session is expected to offer insights into both opportunities and roadblocks for scaling EV adoption, including cost structures, urban planning considerations, and long-term sustainability targets.

As electric mobility becomes a core part of sustainable urban development worldwide, this event serves as a platform to explore how Pakistan can align with international trends while addressing local constraints. With speakers representing regulatory authorities, policy think tanks, and private-sector leaders, the event aims to create a roadmap for practical implementation of electric vehicle initiatives in Pakistan.

The program also intends to bridge knowledge gaps by highlighting innovations from both established institutions and emerging startups working in battery technology, grid integration, and smart transport systems. The involvement of students, engineers, and young innovators is also expected, encouraging engagement from the academic community in shaping the country’s EV future.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in the dialogue by registering in advance via the official RSVP link Here. For further details or confirmation, inquiries can be directed to +92 333 5921577.

The Electric Horizon 2025 is positioned as a timely initiative to align Pakistan’s energy and transport policies with global climate goals and digital infrastructure development. By focusing on actionable strategies and cross-sector collaboration, the event is set to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s progress in sustainable and intelligent transportation systems.
