Pakistan ranks 25 of 26 in Mobile Broadband Connectivity

A study was conducted in sponsorship with Nokia, according to which Pakistan scores 2.09 of 10 in Mobile Broadband Connectivity. The study ‘Connectivity Scorecard 2013’ took into consideration, consumer infrastructure, consumer usage and skills, business infrastructure and business usage & skills, public sector infrastructure and public sector usage & skills. The results were presented at Nokia ‘Connected Pakistan-3G, 4G Perspectives’ conference. Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, Chairman, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), said, “Nokia with its 3G&4G mobile broadband technologies has the capacity, and will provide the locals with high quality Mobile Broadband Connectivity. 

HTC instigated Flagship One M8 and Low End Desire 310

Brightex, the official distributor of HTC, finally launched One M8 and Low End desire 310, at Lahore. M8 is similar to last year’s Flagship M7, with many new and innovative features. It has a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. The best feature is its dual camera, where one takes picture and other measures depth, which will allow 3D effects. It has an Android 4.4 KitKat along with new version of HTC sense UI. Market price of HTC One M8 is   Rs.75,000. The other one is low end Desire M8, which possesses a 4.5 inch screen with FWVGA resolution. It contains 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal memory and comes along with Android 4.2. It has a 5-megapixel primary camera and a secondary camera for video calling. Market price for Desire 310 is Rs.18,000.
