NUST introduced locally manufactured EZY Racing Car
Students of Mechanical Engineering Department from NUST revealed the locally manufactured Formula Racing Car. This project was completed in collaboration with Pakistan’s well known IT and Technology Company, Interactive Group. This Racing Car will appear in Formula Student Motorsport Competition to be held in Silverstone, UK. The Chief Guest, Chairman of the Interactive Group, Shahid Mahmud shared his excitement about this locally manufactured one seater Racing Car. He hopes that this invention will create a positive image of country at international level. He appreciated those 29 students from NUST, who came up with this brilliant design. The CEO of EZY Racing Srilanka, Shafraz Hamzadeen, announced, the International Drivers of EZY Racing Srilanka will train students for International Grand Formula Student Championship.
Pakistan to participate in RoboCup 2014
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is invited by Brazil to compete in RoboCup 2014. Students from Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering built the robots. This event will have a great impact on the future of soccer in Pakistan. Vice Chancellor Shaukat Hameed Khan said, the intend behind this initiative is to make Robo-Teams which will compete World Cup Champions in year 2050. The cost of each robot is $4000. Vice chancellor told media, Pakistan will not be able to participate because the Government of Pakistan is not willing to pay for trip.
