Mobile Phone Companies to pay taxes on each handset purchased

FBR is now collecting Rs.250 on each handset as New IMEI Registration Tax.  It has been reported that in addition to Rs. 500 tax, FBR collecting Rs.250 on each handset purchased from mobile phone companies. This tax will be collected in the form of New IMEI Registration Tax. It will be charged on the handsets which relate to the cellular networks. Cellular Manufacturers have to ensure that tax is collected on each of new handset registered on any network. This decision does not seem to be satisfactory because the customers are already paying heavy tax of Rs.250 on featured phones and Rs.500 on Smartphones. In addition, Telecom Industry announced that this new IMEI tax will invalidate the reduction of taxes which was announced previously.

Ufone announces 20 lucky winners of Toyota Corolla Cars

Ufone has always been the only telecom operator which introduces such exciting offers to its users.  In past 4 years Ufone has facilitated its 70 users with the exciting ShahCar offer. The only thing the customers had to do was to recharge Rs. 200 to their account, from 5th April to 20th May 2014, the more recharge, more chances to win. Ufone would launch this offer again. He also congratulated the winners.
