Telenor Pakistan Undergoes Executive Leadership Transition: Omer Bin Tariq Takes Helm as New CMO

Telenor Pakistan has announced a significant change within its executive leadership team, revealing that Umair Mohsin, the present Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), will be resigning from his role to explore new opportunities beyond the organization. In response to this development, Omer Bin Tariq, the current Chief Business Officer, is set to assume the responsibilities of the CMO position, commencing from the 18th of August, 2023.

As Umair Mohsin prepares to embark on the next phase of his professional journey, the company expresses its appreciation for his invaluable contributions and extends its best wishes for his forthcoming endeavors. Stepping into the role of CMO is Omer Bin Tariq, a proven leader who has exhibited exceptional strategic insights during his tenure as Chief Business Officer.

Omer Bin Tariq’s extensive grasp of the commercial landscape, demonstrated through his oversight of pricing, segments, products, sales & distribution, and marketing domains, coupled with his innovative problem-solving approach, positions him as the ideal candidate to lead the marketing division.
