TechDestination Pakistan is making a significant mark at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world’s largest technology and startup show, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13 to 17. With its dynamic presence at Concourse 1, CC 1-60, Pakistan’s national tech brand is showcasing the country’s expanding digital capabilities, innovation potential, and growing role in shaping the global technology ecosystem. The initiative is spearheaded by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and Pakistan IT Industry Association (PASHA), in collaboration with the Pakistan Embassy UAE.

This year’s participation reflects Pakistan’s growing influence as a forward-looking digital nation focused on driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and international investment. TechDestination serves as the country’s unified platform to promote its IT and software export potential, helping connect Pakistani tech firms, startups, and innovators with global partners. The pavilion features a wide array of technology-driven solutions and creative ideas that represent Pakistan’s growing confidence and ambition in the digital economy.

Several key representatives from Pakistan’s IT ecosystem, including PSEB CEO Abu Bakar, Director of Global Business Development Shahbaz Hameed, Deputy Director of Projects and Initiatives Abrar Qureshi, and tech industry leaders such as Sidra Jalil, Muhammad Umair Nizam, and Rafia Syed, are leading engagements at GITEX. Their participation emphasizes Pakistan’s focus on establishing global linkages, promoting digital trade, and strengthening the country’s position as a trusted partner in technology and innovation. Through interactive sessions, networking events, and international business meetings, the delegation aims to showcase the depth of Pakistan’s tech expertise while exploring new markets and collaboration opportunities.

Pakistan’s participation at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 also demonstrates how strategic coordination between public and private stakeholders can accelerate digital growth and enhance global visibility. By bringing together government agencies, export boards, trade authorities, and industry associations under the TechDestination brand, the initiative highlights a unified national effort to represent Pakistan as a thriving technology hub. The country’s growing presence at GITEX underscores its readiness to engage with global investors and innovators, driving forward its vision of a digitally empowered, knowledge-based economy.
