Polish game developer Questline and publisher Awaken Realms have confirmed a major commercial milestone for their open world first person action RPG Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, revealing that the title has now sold more than one million copies across all supported platforms. Known among its community as Indie Skyrim, the game has steadily grown its audience since launch and continues to attract new players through ongoing content updates and platform wide promotions.

To mark the occasion, the developer and publisher have released a special celebratory trailer highlighting the world of Avalon and the journey the project has taken since its announcement. Alongside the trailer, a limited time 20 percent discount campaign has gone live on Steam, offering reduced prices across the entire product lineup associated with the game. The base version of Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon is currently available for $35.99, reduced from its original price of $44.99. Players interested in additional content can also purchase the Sanctuary of Arras expansion, which launched last month, for $11.99 instead of $14.99. For newcomers looking for the complete experience, the Adventure Pack that bundles the main game and the expansion is available at $47.98, down from $59.98. Even the Supporters Pack, which includes the official soundtrack and digital artbook, has been discounted to $7.99 from $9.99. This promotional window is set to remain active until Sunday, February 1, providing a limited opportunity for players to explore the game at a lower entry cost.

Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon was first announced in December 2021, following the success of Tainted Grail Conquest, a deck building roguelike RPG hybrid that established the universe and attracted a dedicated fanbase. With The Fall of Avalon, Questline shifted focus toward a fully realized open world experience set within a dark fantasy interpretation of Arthurian legend. The game places strong emphasis on exploration, player choice, and environmental storytelling, elements that have resonated well with much of the audience. While critical reception has been mixed in some outlets, overall user feedback on Steam has remained positive. Recent user reviews currently hold an approval rating of 86 percent, while the overall rating stands at 88 percent, reflecting consistent satisfaction among players over time. These figures suggest that post launch updates and community engagement have played a role in strengthening the game’s reputation.

The sales achievement positions Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon as one of the more commercially successful independent RPG releases of recent years. Industry observers note that reaching the one million sales mark provides Questline and Awaken Realms with greater flexibility when planning future projects within the franchise. Although no formal announcements have been made regarding a sequel or major follow up, the scale of the current success indicates strong interest in the universe and its narrative potential. Any future developments are expected to require a lengthy production cycle, given the scope and ambition associated with open world RPGs of this nature. For now, the developers continue to support the existing release while the community remains engaged through updates, expansions, and limited time offers tied to major milestones.
