STEMx – The STEM School for the World has announced that Wave 23 of its program is now live at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi. The announcement invites students to explore, experiment, build and push their limits, and it asks whether the next big idea of a participant should remain only an idea. The message presents the program as a place where students can turn their ideas into projects, and it describes the start of the wave as the beginning of the next set of possibilities for those who take part. Registration is open now, and it closes on November 27, 2026, which gives interested students a few weeks to apply.

STEMx is a STEM education initiative that runs programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics with partner institutions in Pakistan. Earlier waves have been held at other universities, and the program has also been offered with IBA Karachi, where the School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS) has hosted winter STEM schools with STEMx in recent years. A winter school in January 2026, for example, was described by the school as an immersive academic and residential experience, with subjects that included cybersecurity, general relativity and topology. The numbering of the waves shows that the program has been running for some time, and Wave 23 is the latest in the series.

The announcement of Wave 23 does not give the dates of the program, the courses that are on offer, the age group or the fees. These details are available through the registration link that STEMx has shared, which students can use to apply. The message instead uses language that is meant to attract students who like to experiment and to build things, and it ends with a call to make a move and to register before the deadline. Students who are interested should therefore check the registration page for the full conditions of the program before they apply.

The post was shared with hashtags that include STEMx, Wave23, STEMEducation, IBA and FutureBuilders. These tags identify the program, the partner university and the aim of encouraging young people to build things in science and technology. With registration open until November 27, 2026, students who want to take part in Wave 23 at IBA Karachi can register now, and the organizers have urged them not to miss their wave.
