Skill Tech Hub has formalized a cooperation agreement with CIIC China International Intellectech Co., Ltd. to introduce internationally recognized vocational training programs in Pakistan. The signing ceremony took place at Skill Tech Hub’s head office in Islamabad and marks an important development in strengthening Pakistan-China collaboration in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. The partnership aims to deliver practical skill-based education aligned with global industry standards, enhancing the employability of Pakistani youth and supporting sustainable workforce development across key industrial sectors.
The agreement was signed by Ms. Noor Fatima Alvi, Director of Skill Tech Hub, and Mukaidaier Tuersun, representative of CIIC China International Intellectech Co., Ltd. The event was attended by Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of NAVTTC, whose continued efforts and vision have been instrumental in driving growth within Pakistan’s TVET sector. Under the terms of this partnership, Skill Tech Hub will launch a series of international-standard skill development programs, beginning with a pilot project to train 25 welders according to globally accepted qualifications. Upon successful completion, these trainees will receive guaranteed employment placements through CIIC’s partner enterprises involved in Chinese-funded industrial and infrastructure projects across Pakistan.
This collaboration represents a meaningful step toward integrating education, certification, and employment within a single framework, ensuring that technical training directly contributes to job creation. By connecting skilled workers to verified employment pipelines, the initiative seeks to reduce the gap between vocational education and labor market demand. The program will not only empower trainees through internationally accredited skill sets but will also strengthen Pakistan’s industrial base by producing a workforce trained to meet global standards. Such partnerships are vital to developing a competent labor force that supports economic growth and contributes to the success of long-term development initiatives in Pakistan.
The Skill Tech Hub–CIIC partnership is expected to serve as a model for future international collaborations in vocational training. Its approach to “Training–Certification–Employment” provides a replicable structure for quality-focused and results-oriented skill development. As Pakistan continues to expand its collaboration with international partners in technology and education, this initiative highlights the shared commitment of both countries to fostering practical knowledge, industry readiness, and innovation. Through this agreement, Skill Tech Hub and CIIC aim to create lasting impact by aligning educational outcomes with market requirements, opening new opportunities for the country’s youth, and promoting Pakistan’s integration into the global workforce ecosystem.
