Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has given the green light to the Registration (Sindh Amendment) Ordinance 2024, marking a step towards facilitating property registration for citizens. This approval allows individuals to conveniently register their properties online through the Board of Revenue.

A spokesperson for the Governor highlighted that citizens can now submit their applications and documents for property registration from the comfort of their homes. The submitted documents will undergo online verification directly from the database, and successful applicants will receive notifications through SMS or email.

The ordinance, effective immediately across the province, received Governor Tessori’s signature and operates under the authority granted by Clause (1) of Article 128 of the Constitution of Pakistan.

In a recent development, Governor Tessori announced financial assistance for individuals aged 75 and above who haven’t performed Hajj or Umrah. The announcement was made during his visit to Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad. Eligible seniors can register at the Governor House, and selected individuals will have the opportunity to embark on the pilgrimage after a fair balloting process.
