Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori announced a new initiative on Sunday to provide free Google certifications to eligible IT students. The program, launched alongside Pakistan’s Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, aims to equip young IT professionals with in-demand skills.
Governor Tessori revealed that the Sindh government will cover the certification fees for students who successfully complete the required Google exams. This follows an agreement reached with Google during a recent visit to Islamabad.
“These certifications will be a game-changer for our IT students,” said Governor Tessori. “They will not only enhance their job prospects but also open doors to potential entrepreneurial ventures.”
Attorney General Awan expressed his support for the program, emphasizing the critical role of a strong IT sector in Pakistan’s economic development. He urged students to make the most of this opportunity.
The program is expected to bolster the province’s IT talent pool and contribute to the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy.
