SECP to Host Pakistan Startup Summit to Boost Innovation

SECP is set to host the Pakistan Startup Summit on November 11-12, 2024, in Karachi. This event aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and investment in Pakistan’s burgeoning startup ecosystem.

The summit will feature a range of activities, including expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Key topics will include embedded finance, data protection, peer-to-peer lending, and digital financing solutions.

SECP Chairman Akif Saeed emphasized the potential of technology-driven businesses in Pakistan and the importance of creating a supportive regulatory environment. The summit will provide a platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.

By bringing together key stakeholders, the SECP aims to encourage innovation, facilitate investment, and promote the growth of startups in Pakistan.
