SECP has made significant strides in its efforts to promote insurance awareness and collaboration with provincial governments.

As part of its five-year strategic plan, “Journey to an Insured Pakistan,” SECP has conducted outreach initiatives in Punjab and Sindh, engaging with key stakeholders from various departments. These discussions focused on incorporating insurance into disaster risk financing strategies, promoting occupational health insurance, and strengthening the enforcement of mandatory insurance schemes.

SECP aims to work closely with provincial governments to develop and implement policies and regulations that will enhance insurance penetration and protect citizens from financial risks. The regulator is also planning to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to improve compliance with motor third-party insurance laws.

By fostering partnerships and promoting insurance awareness, SECP is taking steps towards building a more resilient and financially secure Pakistan.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
